Easy exchange, good quality.

Easy replacement, good sound quality. Works great with my Technics QD33. The included vinyl dust remover is really helpful.

Authentic product. for accessories

I have a Yamaha PF800 turntable and needed a new stylus to go with it. To be honest I didn't know which one to buy so I was lucky the sound is amazing.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Good quality. Good sound.

Can't really compare the sound quality but now that I've got everything set up it sounds great. The bonus static electricity cleaner was great too. All round good quality

Affordable, hard to beat under $100

However I did not purchase this from Revain due to shipping issues, bought locally. It is currently used in the Technics SL-B100 turntable from the early 80's. You won't find a better cartridge for this price. It's the same one used in high-end turntables today and has even been renamed Grado, which sells for double the price due to the Grado name. This will breathe new life into an old turntable, which is highly recommended for the sub-$100 crowd.

Not my thing - DJ equipment

Just one person's opinion here. Paired with SL-Q300. I go to the albums for testing: Dark Side and Zeppelin IV. On a positive note, there is practically no surface noise. Strong bass response. On the negative side, the mids/highs are poor. The low level on this basically kills everything. The mids sound muted compared to everything else. The high end leaves a lot to be desired. Obviously YMMV. Great if you want it to be John Bonham with Jimmy Page/Rob Plank. Not my case. The brush works…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Couldn't be better

I give 5 stars because I knew I was buying a "cheap" but quality MM cartridge. This AT85EP cartridge offers excellent value for money. Easy to install and works great. More than enough for my turntable in the garage. I had to tweak the electrical connections on the arm to get the best connection possible, but that could be due to a 40 year old turntable. As a bonus, I also got an anti-static record cleaning brush. I find it amazing that in just a few days I can have a quality, 'legacy'…

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • I have doubts

I was most impressed with the turntable cartridges

This cartridge replaces the Stanton cartridge that I have been using for 25+ years. Doesn't matter. Now my records sound much better. Not sure which is due to the newest cartridge or the fact that the needle in the Stanton cartridge was very old. Anyway, I'm very happy with this purchase. I have 2 hi-fi systems, each with its own player. I installed these Audio-Technica cartridges in a Technics SL-B300 that I have owned since around 1984. Now it's like new again. Another player on my system is…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost OK
