Mind-Blowing Digital Pre-Amplifier

If you're in the hunt for an exceptional digital pre-amplifier, I highly recommend this one. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can confidently say that this product is one of the best in the market. It produces mind-blowing sound quality and precise digital conversion. The construction is top-notch and durable. The only downside is that it comes with a hefty price tag. Nonetheless, If you are considering investing in quality electronics, this pre-amplifier is worth the cost.

Very good hardware but software support could be better

Sound quality is superior compared to the DAC in my Anthem AVM60 and my Oppo BDP-103D with the added bonus of supporting PCM formats over 192/ 24 also cheap 384/24. The included USB drivers for Windows 10 also support 64DSD, 128DSD and 256DSD via my favorite JRiver interface, but poor software documentation and no way to contact tech support on the Audiolab website makes it difficult to properly set up drivers to support 256DSD. First impression.

The M-DAC+ arrived quickly and was well packaged from the factory. Scope of delivery: M-DAC+, power cable, remote control and user manual. No connection cables are supplied. The instructions were satisfactory and readable. The set up was basic as it should be. This is a nice heavy unit, as all discrete components should be.
