Very good hardware but software support could be better
Sound quality is superior compared to the DAC in my Anthem AVM60 and my Oppo BDP-103D with the added bonus of supporting PCM formats over 192/ 24 also cheap 384/24. The included USB drivers for Windows 10 also support 64DSD, 128DSD and 256DSD via my favorite JRiver interface, but poor software documentation and no way to contact tech support on the Audiolab website makes it difficult to properly set up drivers to support 256DSD. For anyone encountering this stumbling block: Use the IUSBAudio driver, 1xDSD in native format. Do not use DoP!
