Available 12V EQ

A small EQ that I use to fine tune the stereo signal for my marine speakers and subwoofer on my boat. Love the snap buttons that slide out to adjust and then pull back to hold position, including the subwoofer output.

Great buy, fine tuning, great sound improvements

Really great buy. The bass sounds clear enough to push my kids and treble, worth buying it looks good too, it might not fit in a single din tray either. I have great faith in audio tubes.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

A good unit for its price

Pretty good quality, with a solid metal body and mounting hardware. The lack of a power button is easily addressed with an external switch on the "Remote" center port. Octave tapes are familiar to me as an audio engineer and allow me to quickly tune into various program material by ear. The switchable aux input is an optional feature for connecting a satellite receiver and an iPad, for example.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

INSTALLATION: less than 7 inches and battery + item

This EQ is less than 7 inches wide compared to the Massive Audio 9-Band If you replace another EQ with this 9-Band Access Point; First check the position of the battery and ground. Do not use the same adapter. You may need to change the pole. The popping buttons feel cheap, I hold them down to avoid breaking them. Compared to my odl db drive speed series I didn't have to worry about that / 100€ more for sure. the DB handle was stuck in or popped out. I only use this AP 9 range between 125Hz and

Newbie Game Changers - Home Audio

Really Worth Every Penny! Absolutely amazing what it has done for my system! I have a 12" W6 in a ported case, the 3k amp is severely trimmed and a din deck added. I was very concerned about my subwoofer playing a voice despite the high/low pass filter I have. I'm humble enough to say my system doesn't match ohms in any way - but WOW. Just wow. This equalizer filtered every high note, from the dog whistle to the sound your dad's southern region makes after a chili night (even medium/low if you…

Only two settings for a 60 or 90 Hz crossover

I only bought this EQ because there were nine bands, not for the crossover ability, so the choice of 60 or 90 Hz does matter doesn't matter to me because I control my subwoofers via the subwoofer on my main unit. I rigorously run the mids and highs through the EQ and they sound great. If you are looking for an EQ with better crossover capabilities I would suggest getting the Rockville R7EQ which has a 40Hz to 250Hz crossover capability with an infinity control somewhere in between. I think the…
