The secret ingredient is camping and hiking

Big jar, much bigger than I expected. Also, they are larger than "flakes" but they are very dry so they crumble easily. Just what I needed to add extra nutrition to pizza, spaghetti, pasta and smoothies for a kid who doesn't like veggies in any other way.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Not sure

Convenient and delicious! Suitable for freeze-dried foods

Ideal for adding vegetables even to fast food! Ramen soup, in sour cream or yogurt for sauce, whatever. Good taste, good filling, now it's my kitchen staple! Better than frozen. It goes a long way since I only add a few tablespoons to each serving.

This thing is great

I love these dehydrated spinach flakes. You have great taste. When added to soups or simply boiled in water, you never know they aren't fresh. I add a few scoops to fruit smoothies. I don't have to waste spinach to spoil before I can use it. i will buy it again.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Protection

I Love This Stuff: Camping

I Love This Stuff! I add some of this and some dried green and red peppers to our dinner every night! It's easy to use; just toss it in soup or sauce, or soak it before adding it to a dish. It adds a big boost of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K and iron! Great way to get dark green leafy vegetables!

Pros
  • Permanent Test Results
Cons
  • Band

I don't know how I lived without it.

Now I have 10 different cans of this brand. Now I always have vegetables. There are no more spoiled and forgotten vegetables in my fridge. I use all 10 cans of human food and give dogs peas, banana chips and apple chips as healthy snacks. They're high in calories, so be careful with chubby dogs!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Nutritious and Healthy

Dried spinach is a great way to add nutrition to your meal or snack. Its usefulness depends on your imagination. Some obvious uses are omelettes (or scrambled eggs), soups, stews, salads. Sometimes it's best to rehydrate first. An example would be using lettuce. When there is enough liquid in the dish, simply add dried spinach, especially when cooking.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Doubtful

It smelled so fresh when I opened the jar! I love this product!

I know it's freeze-dried spinach, but I was really surprised at how fresh it smells when you open the jar. I've slowly rehydrated them in a bowl of water and used them in my recipes like Tuscan Cannellini Bean Soup! Tastes great and I love having long shelf life spinach and other August and farm freeze dried foods like diced peppers, onions, celery flakes etc in my pantry at all times! Love it!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

I love this product line

I just received my 3rd order for spinach flakes, I really like them. I use it in soups and just made lasagna with it yesterday, it was a hit. I rehydrated the Spinach Lasagna Flakes and then drained the excess water. Tasted fantastic and my soup(s) didn't turn green. I have bought other Augason products and I really like them too. Blueberries and strawberries make great snacks especially when my grandkids are around they enjoy them and I don't have to worry about sugar with them.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Useless features

No "prepper ", just keep nutritious foods on hand just in case.

Cannot open but feels like a decent amount of product. I shook the jar - you can hear the product moving, it doesn't look like there is too much space in it. To be honest, I got this to have food on hand that doesn't go bad during hard times. I got through tough times and wanted these things on hand, so I invested while I could and saved for later, just in case. Many ways to use this product. Chop and add to eggs, make an omelette, add to stews, chop and add to pasta batter for extra…

Pros
  • Excellent overall specs
Cons
  • Some small things
