Mandatory for painting on medium to light weight materials.

With thinner material this is needed to soak up "bleeding paint" so the paint doesn't ruin the underside and it's a really good thickness to do just that. On the heavier stock of some white kitchen towels I found that the extra thickness made it difficult to keep the ring taut and as there was no "leak" I took out the blotting paper and it was fine.

  • Not sure

Read ALL information before ordering.

A one star rating is not a criticism of the product but a rating is required to write this review. They're probably good for their intended purpose, whatever that may be. I was looking for old-fashioned blotting paper to dab ink with a fountain pen while writing. It's a bit like flimsy, weird paper towels. I keep them as a reminder to myself to study more carefully before ordering. Also, one of my "smart" friends can use it.

Pros
  • Paper & Paper Crafts
Cons
  • Slightly Wrinkled

No desk pads, just paper towels.

Very disappointing. I bought them to use as blotting paper for fountain pens. Several reviews have mentioned this. I see no difference between these and paper towel rolls folded in quarters. I'm assuming it will blot up liquid (like any paper towel) but it's not thick blotting paper that can be reused for long. $6.25 for 6 sheets of paper towels seems like a ridiculous price. If you want, pay me to tear up sheets of your favorite brand of paper towels all day and fold them for you.

Pros
  • Decor paper
