Very very fine for sewing

I've followed the reviews but it's always the other way around. This thread is the weakest. Everyone says it's strong and won't snap, but it's actually very thin, if you're looking for extra fine thread then this is the one to buy. but for anything else I wouldn't recommend it. She gets zero

I wouldn't use any other yarn

I am an avid quilter. I only use Aurifil thread for sewing my quilts and also for quilting. I use it for both bobbin thread and backstitching. Do not use any other yarn. When I used threads other than Aurifil, I was disappointed. Using Aurifil yarn is one of the best ways to take care of your car.

Pros
  • Yarn and Floss
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Good Yarn: Sewing

This is my first time using Aurfil quilting yarn. Bought to sew squares for a blanket. No breakage issues, some lint in coil area after use but not excessive. Not sure if it's worth the price, will see how long it lasts as the cost is higher than another thread I've bought that seems to be of the same quality.

I love it. Because it's 100% cotton

This was the FIRST time I used this 100% cotton thread on my embroidery machine. I love it. Because it's 100% cotton, I can use it to embroider patterns on hot pads, microwave potato bags, etc. What I also like is that the label on the bottom of the spool has a round perforated area for the spool to sit on the line holder. I've encountered poking or cutting a hole in the bottom of other brands, a sticky pain because bits of paper can stick to my scissors or the metal I'm using. Not with this…

  • Sewing
Cons
  • Big and chunky
