I have two white spools and need black thread for a quilt I'm working on and Aurifil is the only thread I currently use. The fluff that comes out of this thread is extremely light, I was able to get through two full weeks of solid sewing before I had to stop and clean up a bit. A white thread always gives a lot of pile, but a black one, it seems from nothing, BUT pile, but with aurifil - hardly a pile. And it makes my car and I very happy.

I switched to Aurifil After trying several brands of 100% cotton thread for a few projects, I was frustrated with thread wear, breakage and lots of lint in the machine. I spent too much time ripping the seams where the thread broke between them leaving a jagged line. (And no, it's not a tension issue - tried all possible combinations - it was THREAD.)
