Aurifil A1050 2870 Solid Cotton Thread Review

Of course if you love quilting then this is the best thread you can buy. I don't know, I'm not a quilter, I just buy yarn. The price is right, it arrived quickly and was the right color. Speaking of color, local fabric shops had a limited supply of soft colors, while there is a wide range of colors here.

I am convinced that Aurifil is the best yarn available. I use it for quilting and general sewing. I have never been disappointed by that. There is a large selection of solid and bright colors. It doesn't leave lint like some more readily available and cheaper threads. The threads are thinner but stronger than some other brands. I love this brand and will never thread my favorite machine again.

I'm having a problem with broken threads on my Brother machine. After going through all sorts of adjustments is a new needle etc etc. They suggested Aurifil. So I tried a coil. This stuff is really overpriced in my opinion because while the quality is great it's still just a thread. However, I became addicted. I needed 100% cotton for my projects and this was my third brand of thread. Sews like a dream! There were no problems with the tension, problems with the needles, broken threads, etc…
