Died 10 minutes after installation

Replaced in less than 10 minutes. After driving 3 miles the computer gave code 121 for the TPS sensor. Every time I stopped, the car stalled and I had to restart. I checked under the hood, the sensor fell apart and lay on the sidelines with all 3 wires disconnected. Went to the auto parts store and paid 3x that price and no problems so far. Cheap plastic.

Great seller but manufacturer hits the spot

Before installing this sensor I cleared all codes and after installation I ran the truck for about 10 minutes and it started working like crap by changing the TPS code thrown. I ended up returning the item as it was defective. I had the same problem with a sensor from this manufacturer a few years ago but I have had good TPS sensors from them in the past, the seller was great I would buy from this seller again but the manufacturer did exactly the right thing.

The plug is tight.

The electrical connection is very tight. The sensor fits perfectly on 99 Durango 5.2 V8 and works. However the gray panel is a pressed and loose piece so I would suggest having your favorite all weather glue handy as it tends to fall apart. As long as the wires don't break it's ok, just glue the gray part to the black mounting part. That's the only reason it doesn't get five stars. The parts do not need to be glued together, as they have to be sealed and weatherproof at the factory.
