The best thing about these fender covers is how soft they are. I used them when I was working on a new Mustang and the car didn't have a scratch. They are a bit thin so you have to keep that in mind. You should be aware that they will slip if not secured with a clothespin or magnet. Overall excellent protection, especially when placed under a stiffer wing.

Exactly what I needed. I find leather fender covers tend to scratch the paint. These covers may not hold your tools, but they do a great job of protecting paint from oil and grease. You can also wash the covers in the washing machine; This reduces the likelihood of scratches from debris, unlike felt-backed hard leather cases. I have thicker shirts than this. Not sure why all the good reviews, but if you're tugging at your car, be aware that the paint is only slightly less vulnerable than no coating at all. I really can't think of any reason to use them on your car. They are too small to throw over the seat to protect against fat.
