Installed touch is the best among replacement parts

Love it! The installation instructions are easy to follow. It requires 4 simple wires to operate: power, ground, light source from the head signal so the light works properly at night, and a signal connection from the coil. I installed this in an older VW with a decent engine and it works great as a tachometer. There is no rev limiter that I was aware of when I bought it. Works great and I made my own mounting plate using the dash grille and some black 3M automotive sealant glue to hold it in…

Good for the money but a little jittery

Took about 2 hours to install but I have a 30 year old truck and everything needs to be hidden. From the start I was grateful for the ad in this thing. Picks up gently at the 1st 1000rpm but after that it starts to jump and not be smooth. Most twitches occur between 2km and 2.5km, which is where I spend most of my time behind the wheel. I'll keep track of all the connections to see if I made a mistake. Otherwise good value for money, just wish it wasn't so much plastic!

Great product for the price

Good product. Looks good. Seems accurate. Excellent price. Recommended for everyday driver or project car. I wouldn't wear it on my Vetta. Underestimated because the instructions on my 3VZE powered Toyota truck were useless. It has an ignition ignition and is not described in the instructions. I emailed the site as per their instructions asking for help and they ignored my request - twice. The first speedometer I ordered arrived at DOA, I sent it back and ordered again. The second works fine…

Disappointing with sensors

I don't write many reviews but unfortunately this had to be one. I'm sorry your return deadline has passed, you're out of luck. I installed the Touch as the instructions say, I may add that it's vague at best! Speedometer is on, but the arrow doesn't move. Before calling, I researched all possible resources to ask several mechanics questions. However, I'm still sitting here with a nice dashboard decoration that lights up at night. I could come up with something better for my 79 f150 but I think

Nothing fancy but great little touch

This is the perfect aftermarket tachometer. It's perfect because it's big enough to be easy to read, but not so big that it's flashy and obtrusive. The adjustable Redline works well, but lacks some of the useless "racing features" that other speedometers have, such as: B. a rev limiter or a shift indicator. They're great for race cars, but a basic street speedometer doesn't need them and is just another thing that can go wrong. The 8000rpm rev range is perfect for most modern V8 and V6 engines…

Works great, exactly.

I wanted to get a whiff, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After reading the reviews of the cheaper ones ($20-$30) and hearing that they don't read closely or are slow/lagged, I figured I'd spend a little more and buy a good brand name like this. This thing works great, reads in real time, as far as I can tell from a 1991 S10 it's accurate. One oddity I wasn't expecting is that the needle doesn't always return to 0 when you turn the car off. It usually sticks to the last reading. This…
