Accurate Monitoring with AUTO METER 2391 Autogage Electric Mini Oil/Volt/Water Gauge Review

So I wanted to get a little more info from my alternator while it was running on my bus. Conventional pressure gauges (mechanical) were out of the question since the generator is moved in and out of the bus and the routing would be quite complex. A set of electric pressure gauges was thus obtained. Overall I am very happy with how well they work with my CumminsOnan Kubota generator.

Fits my 1987 Toyota 4x4 pickup. From the factory, the truck only had one temperature sensor that no longer worked. These car meter gauges were very easy to install, work perfectly, are easy to see where I installed them on the dash and are just the right size for my smaller truck. We recommend.

Good gauge kit if you are looking for an electric oil level gauge. I hated running an oil line in my car for an old gauge. The plastic pipe can become brittle and splatter oil everywhere. Just running the cable to the sensor on the engine is much nicer and much cleaner. The kit contains all the necessary sensors. All you have to do is insert the wire and crimp. They are small, caliber 1 1/2 inches, I usually stick with 2 inches with full coverage but I needed something that would fit in a limited space and they worked well. They are a bit difficult to read at night. Simple instructions make it easy to connect these sensors. This can take a long time, but it's not that difficult. I connected all three sensors and their displays together to simplify the wiring. Start with one sensor with the positive wire, connect it to the positive of the next sensor, and finally to the third sensor.
