Looks great, easy to attach. Electromanometer

Works great on my F150. Used with OIK filter sandwich adapter. Now I see the real pressure in the system. Not the fake gauge Ford used.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all

Instant Reading. - Oil Pressure

My previous mechanical gauge no longer leaks oil, I replaced the incandescent bulb with an LED and that seemed to fix the fogging problem. The sending device is installed on the expansion port.

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Minor Repairability

Cheap materials, washer

The plexiglass pane immediately began to mist up because the lightbulb was on. I turned off the ignition and prevented it from becoming unreadable. Whether the sensor is accurate or not doesn't matter if you can't even read it! $75 for cheap Plexiglas is unacceptable.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Lighting and electrical appliance meter

It didn't work when it was first installed. The wiring has been done correctly and according to the instructions. I removed the gauge and applied 80psi to the gauge hole. After 5 minutes of operation, the sensor started working and is still working. The sensor membrane may be stuck. I don't know the accuracy of the sensor. My mechanical gauge shows a 5 pound difference. Either one or the other is wrong.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

GREAT product, SEE WARNING

Always a great Autometer & Made in USA product. WARNING! If you are installing the filter on a Crown Victoria, Lincoln Town Car, or Mercury Grand Marquis: You must insert a 1/4 NPT elbow into the bottom inlet opening of the filter housing and extend it forward (toward the front of the filter housing) AT LEAST two inches the vehicle). with 1/4NPT extension. If you mount the sensor right out of the case, your control stick will break it when you turn right. When you move it forward, it doesn't…

  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Questionable senior purchase

Great addition to my truck

hated the dummy oil level sensor in my 02 F150. This pressure gauge works great and reads the pressure as it should. I installed this meter in a 99 Heavy Duty Auto Meter gauge and installed it in my truck. The pressure gauge comes with everything you need for installation. I had to buy a set of copper wires/compression fittings to install mine on my truck. I would recommend buying an automatic pressure gauge. I also have a temperature sensor, works great. Everything you need was included in…

Easy to connect to sensors

Works well, easy to connect. I love having an oil pressure gauge on all my cars, it's a nice easy way to keep track of engine health. I had an adapter that came with the stock oil pressure switch on my LM7 5.3 and it fitted perfectly. It uses 1/8 NPT threads but every motor is different so just google your app. The sensor is a bit larger than I imagined, but I haven't had any issues with the gap. Run a cable from the gauge to the gauge and then take a fuse connector like this…
