Good Value; Easy Installation

The Bugflector II fit perfectly and installed in literally 5 minutes. The screw holes all lined up with the existing holes in the underside of the hood on my '07 Toyota RAV4 Sport.I found it strange that the screws didn't have much of an indentation for the tip of the screwdriver, so I had to make sure I used a Phillips screwdriver with less of a tip. A slotted screwdriver probably would have worked better. Nonetheless, easy install.

  • Great for the winter when splatter and grit is certain to get on your car.
Cons
  • Nice guard but the screws are garbage

Well other people like it

Easy to install, fits well and seems sturdy. However, I was not impressed with how it looks because it doesn't cover the whole front part of the hood (at least I don't think it does). Others have said it fits like it should and actually makes the front of the RAV4 look better. As far as stopping or deflecting bugs - not much, but when they come in from higher up I'd need a laser to stop them from smearing my windshield. And, again, others have said it is doing its job. So be it. I've had one on

Great Product - my new review

The Bugflector was super easy to install and has worked beautifully thus far. The only disappointment I had was I thought it would cover the entire front of the car not just the strip in the very front. I would highly recommend this particularly for the price.

So easy to install a monkey could put it on

Keep those rock chips off your hood! If you live in the salt belt (like Minnesota; whenever it snows .00001" MNDOT dumps 50 billion tons of salt and ground up Justin Bieber CD's on the road) this hood shield will help keep part of the hood looking new. Fits perfectly on my 2012 RAV4. So easy to install a monkey could put it on. Well, maybe not a monkey that suffered a massive head injury due to roller skating in front of a cement truck, but even I installed this hood shield in under 10…

Doesn't deflect bugs at all

As far as I can tell after many, many miles of driving, the bugflector does not prevent bug splats at all, regardless of driving speed. (It installs easily and looks decent, but it doesn't do it's job.)
