Spark plugs didn't impress me

I bought these for my '99 Dodge Ram 1500. They fit and work, but not very well. My truck worked like crap after installing and fully customizing it. At first I thought it was something wrong and my mechanic double checked it. I bought my regular Bosch spark plugs and had him test fit them after about the third visit and now it's running as smooth as can be. I'm considering going with Bosch.

Pros
  • Patented platinum side wire technology with wear resistant V finish
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Fits 2003 Honda Accord

130,000 miles with OEM plugs in a 2003 4 cylinder Honda Accord. A noticeable drop in mpg showed it was time to turn on. Changed the air filter and put these candles in. The old candles still looked great! Burned clean, still within an acceptable range. Probably didn't have to be changed, but since I had them in my hand, with the hood open and the plugs unplugged, I installed new ones anyway. I'm very surprised at how durable the standard connectors have proven. If it takes that long, I think…

Pros
  • Fixed engine seat gasket and union nut
Cons
  • Upgrade Availability

Excellent Spark Plugs

I have installed these in a Chevrolet Aveo and Suzuki Forenza (both cars use the same spark plugs) in order for them to work you need to split them properly (just like ANY other spark plug with a single ground electrode). There are NO spark plugs of this type that come standard with a gap. 1.- Noticeable improvement at launch - fast, without hesitation. 2.- Increased Power - At 8,000 feet an improvement in torque is easy to see and it was noticeable. I wasn't expecting MPG improvement so I…
