Wire Me Up on power and ground wires

This is handy for changing wires on scooters, buggies etc. Good set in multiple colors at a good price. I make holes in the box to wind the wire as needed, homemade caddy.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Functionality

Great for DIY

Every time I have an electrical (car) project I disassemble it. I just did a fuse box project and these wires came in handy. I installed the radio and some of the wires were short, this will help lengthen them. Ideal for car painting.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Faulty

Disappointed is putting it mildly.

This wire has the appearance of copper clad aluminum which makes it very brittle if you try to crimp terminals onto it. I'm trying to assemble a wire harness from this and the threads break when trying to securely crimp the pins for the connectors I'm using. Disappointed is putting it mildly.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor use
Cons

Suitable for non-critical use

Good: soft and comfortable to work with. Means of transport. I don't know how long it will stay under the hood at high temperatures. I wouldn't use it for 110 volts or higher.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • No

You get what you pay for

This is a cheap cable. I would not recommend using this for an external cable. The insulation doesn't hold up. The strands are weak and it's difficult to get a good curl. I had to remove twice as much insulation, bending and twisting it to get enough to make a good strong crimp. If you make small runs for small things I think you will be fine. But I wouldn't tackle big projects with him.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Used every 600 feet! for amplifier installation

I used this cable to connect Lionel's train circuit - 3 main tracks, 1 siding, 2 switches and 10 switches total. Avoid soldering whenever possible by using crimp and box type connectors. No hassle with stripping wires or using spade lugs and box connectors.

Pros
  • THIS IS NOT AN AWG AMERICAN WIRE DEVICE
Cons
  • Some small things

Suitable for Non-Critical Use

Good: Soft and easy to work with. Bad: There's no rating, type, UL certification, or anything else on the wire. My conclusion: I love this cable, it's great for low voltage applications like vehicles. I don't know how long it will stay under the hood at high temperatures. I wouldn't use it for 110 volts or higher.

Pros
  • Please note that purchase must be made through a sales listing created directly by Best Connections in order to select colours. Purchases made through other fulfillment options such as Amazon may only ship the default colors.
Cons
  • Clarity
