You get what you pay for

This is a cheap wire. I would not recommend using this for an external cable. The insulation doesn't hold up. The strands are weak and it's difficult to get a good curl. I had to strip twice as much insulation, bend and twist it to get enough to make a good, strong crimp. If you make small runs for small things I think you will be fine. But I wouldn't tackle big projects with him.

Pros

Flexible, insulated and PVC jacketed. Ideal for car radio, home theater, cars, remote control, power on, wired connection. Stranded aluminum with copper coating.
