The local auto repair shop has quoted $438 and says the entire assembly needs to be replaced. I bought a defective part from Revain, looked up the instructions on YouTube and spent 15 minutes replacing the part myself. Made me feel empowered. You can do that! Act!

This bezel fitted my 2007 CLK 63 perfectly. My original bezel had a few broken petals and continued to lag behind the center console when shifting gears. Installation was very easy and only took about 5 minutes. Be careful with this as it is very fragile like the standard model.

Got this part for my 2005 C230K. Fits great after removing the tabs from the old chrome rear derailleur frame (OEM P/NA 203 267 2288). Easy enough to remove and replace. The best way to prevent this bezel from cracking is to regularly treat the switch boot with leather conditioner. Much cheaper than the original part and looks the same!

After years of sloshing around on my 2003 C240 wagon this plaque is now back in place. It was very easy to replace after watching a few YouTube videos. While the panel, trunk and gear knob were removed from my car, I took the time to give the leather boot a proper tidy up. I still don't understand what exactly caused the plate to break. Now I know!

There are two power mounts under the shift indicator. The front one came up well, but the rear red one is not compatible. I just turned it off so now my gear light won't come on and I can't use S to C. Just rely on my dashboard to tell me what gear I'm in. Otherwise it looks great and I saved $250 by not going to the dealer. There is a video on Youtube about the CLK 350 that is very simple.

Would have given 5 stars however I was only able to use the platen cover as the pins on one of the hinges were bent and I couldn't use the control panel even after trying to position it properly lean. I pulled out the old control panel and put in the new lid frame and everything worked great. I found a good tutorial on uTube that simplifies the installation. If I had to repeat it I would order the bezel/chrome cover without the control module. Saved $25 or so. Overall good product and next day…

This product works like a charm Now all I have to do is get a new damn rear derailleur because I broke the top by sticking it in leather. This part only fit me to a limited extent. The old part is easy to disassemble (according to the instructions on You Tube), the gear knob and leather case are easy to disassemble and everything snaps open and reassembled. I didn't get the two electrical plugs that matched the new part, the pins and holes didn't match. So the black part of the part (with the C/S switch and shift indicator) breaks off.
