This product works very well. I record a lot of programs from my TV. I have a digital cable box with only digital outputs. My DVD recorder usually has analog inputs for recording. I need something to convert HDMI to analog. This device did it!

Works well with any HDMI source. So far I've used it with Blu-ray players and Fire TV Stick. No matter what source or TV I connect it to, I notice a faint line about 1 inch high across the screen width, which is a bit more. grainier or pixelated than the rest, and moves slowly from the bottom to the top of the screen. However, this line is rather faint so it doesn't bother me unless the background is very light.

We used it to connect the firestick to the TV in our car where we only had an RCA connection (2015 GMC Yukon Denali XL) and it worked great! The installation took seconds and worked without any problems. Paired with a WiFi hotspot in the car, it works very well. We had a weird issue with audio not working at times, but I found a tip online to turn off the Dolby audio setting on the Firestick and that completely resolved the issue. Now we have a great entertainment complex for long trips!
