Good quality analog video DA

This 4-port analog video distribution amplifier has a wide bandwidth and very good video quality. The outputs are individually ac coupled (no problem in most systems). Low power consumption (works very cool). For the price unbeatable.

Pros
  • Plug and play with AC coupling, high isolation, no output distortion and no interference.
Cons
  • High Price

The video response is very flat.

My use for this device is not to split the output of a camera, but to split the output of an NTSC Test Video Signal Generator (VITS). The internal video response of this device needs to be very flat or it will mess up my tests with the outputs. Comparing the overall behavior (flatness) of the input and output signals, it can be concluded that the overall frequency response of the video signal is very flat; exactly what i needed. And if it works well in my application, then it should certainly…

Pros
  • Suitable for public video system, simple TV teaching, multi-screen surveillance system, etc.

Video from the other side of the house.

I have a security system with 9 cameras. I wanted to have a monitor in my workshop/office (in the garage at home) showing what was on the camera watching the driveway in front of the garage door. I used it between the camera and dashcam and ran another cable to the garage. There are 50 feet of cable from the camera and 100 feet of cable from this box to the TV in the garage. I now have a 24 inch display of what is behind the door. Now we're looking at the monitor when we want to see who's at…

The video response is very flat.

My use for this unit is not to share the camera output, it is the NTSC Test Video Signal Generator (VITS) output. The internal video response of this device needs to be very flat or it will skew my tests with the output signals. Comparing the overall behavior (flatness) of the input and output signals, it can be concluded that the overall frequency response of the video signal is very flat; exactly what i needed. And if it works well in my application, then it should certainly work well when…

Great for CCTV

Just got this splitter (1 to 4 outputs) and installed it. I use mine to set up CCTV. I have a 1080p camera that needed to be sent to a dashcam and another monitor. My coax cables are fairly short, about 10 feet coming out of the splitter, so I can't vouch for a longer run, and if the longer run needs amplification, then the splitter. The video seems good without the use of audio, so I can't comment on it. For a video surveillance system or a small screen, this works well. Again, not sure how…
