I really wanted to like it, the brightness was decent, but the motion detection is definitely broken. Only one out of a four pack actually works, and it only works about half the time. Not only does it work half the time, it often stays on much longer than it should. If I wasn't afraid of it happening again I would buy another set from a different brand and try again, now that I know I just have to turn on a small switch or work in the dark.

I was going to buy Sylvania LED lights with motion detection, but I decided to see what else was out there. I have to say I was beyond surprised at how well these little lights work, they are perfect for hallways, kitchens and especially bathrooms. Our house is pitch black at night, and when we wake up in the middle of the night to go about our business, we hate turning on bright overhead lights. These worked fine! Not too light but not too dark, they do the job. Highly recommended

Can be left on all the time or used as a motion detector. I don't have spaces that big, but I can tell you that in pitch black surroundings, the detector lit up at least 10 feet from me. The detector is in a good spot, but you need to make sure you don't block it or it won't pick up all the corners. I was looking for night lights for my hallway. Most lights found on the internet are too dim. I finally found it. Good that you can regulate the brightness. However, what I see as a small flaw is the motion sensor. It does not detect movement from top to bottom. It is sensitive to movements from left and right, but when descending from above.
