🔦 AUXITO 9005 LED Headlight Bulbs - 12000LM Per Set, 6500K Xenon White, Mini Size HB3, Wireless Headlight Bulb (Pack of 2) Review

I like Auxito LED bulbs and I usually buy bulbs with a big round heatsink. But for my 2020 Nissan Leaf the housings are designed for the OEM halogen bulb shape. They are similar in shape to OEM bulbs and barely fit. I couldn't quite get them out, but they work great and aren't going anywhere. I hope they last, but I know Auxito tends to stand up for their products.

I have previously purchased Auxito bulbs for my Mirage G4 and I know they will be great. The design, which is one piece and is similar to the standard lamp design, is fantastic. I've had them for two months now so far so good. They look a bit brighter than my silver stars that I ran through the projector housing, but they aren't as bright as some of the new 4 LED/high power HID housings from Acura, Toyota or Porsche. I installed these bulbs (9005/HB3) on my 2013 Ford Explorer XLT. The Explorer uses the same high and low beam bulbs. I'm assuming they have different voltages across them. It's really plug and play. Installation took less than 5 minutes including removing the existing lights. Just plug it into the harness connector and twist to lock, just like installing a halogen bulb. It couldn't be easier. I used them for high beam on my 2019 Chevrolet Volt (low beam was already LED from the factory). I have tried the popular Sealight 9005 LED lamps with flat heatsinks and built in CAN modules but had problems with the lamp bayonet not locking properly like the stock 9005 lamp. UPDATE DECEMBER 4, 2020 After reading Sealight Scoparc S2 9005 (newer model not using driver module) based on recommendations from other Explorer- Owner tested I have to say that the Sealight offers the closest approximation to the original 9005 halogen beam pattern. My passenger side high beam pattern still looks bizarre on the wall at 25 feet or closer as it doesn't look like the driver side high beam pattern ( which is very close to the halogen pattern).
