Works great!: Accessories and accessories

What a time saver. I connected it to a Sony X3000 and a Dell XPS 12 and it can record for up to 10 hours without changing the battery or SD card. Dell doesn't even hit the minimum specs (i5 Core M) and records great. .

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Almost never

Best plug and play device I've found - it just works

Unpacked AV.io 4k. I connected the cables to the camera and the computer. The camera was visible and gave an excellent picture. Just make sure the camera you want to use can handle HDMI only output.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I mainly used it to record PS4 gameplay, it's .

Mainly used for PS4 gameplay recording, true 4K, the only problem is that it doesn't have audio input on the device itself as I can't connect headphones because the sound isn't recorded.

Pros
  • Nicely packaged

  • Some cons

It works well and requires no configuration.

One of the best products I have ever bought. It requires no configuration and just works - every time. I've used it for over a dozen different projects and it's become my go-to HDMI video capture device for classes, presentations, webinars, and more.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Obsolete

Check Specifications

If you have a MacBook Pro and a PS4 Pro, don't take it, your PC won't last long. I've tried all the options available in OBS and it keeps dropping frames. You would think that since this device does most of the processing work, it would allow the PC to run effortlessly, but no. Any capture card needs a good computer to work and it took me a few tries to finally figure it out. Please check the specifications before purchasing.

Worth the high price.

I really didn't want to spend $500 on this as there were cheaper alternatives. However, I really liked the plug and play feature, so I decided to give it a try. It worked as advertised. It's a bit bigger than I imagined, but everything feels high quality. I connected it to my Sony AX-53 4K camcorder. The picture quality is excellent and there is no lag when streaming live on my 2017 MacBook Pro. This is exactly what I was looking for. If I have a second camcorder, I choose the 1080p version…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Disappears

I was planning to hook up my Xbox One X to an HDMI splitter and then this unit connect the splitter to record on my MacBook Pro and later stream via OBS. I wanted to connect my LG C7 to a 4K HDR video splitter. I tried two different signal splitting methods and both methods resulted in no HDR signal on my TV. I contacted Epiphan support and told them about my setup and what I was trying to do and they told me there is no splitter solution I could connect this device to that would also output 4K

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
