Save yourself some time and hassle, pay a little more and buy a Shure Microflex MX153T/O-TQGI bought an Av-Jefes Avl-630 for some bucks over the $200 -Shure model I used earlier. Fantastic quality for public speaking. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to mics and at 1/4 the price of quality ear hooks I was concerned that the quality might not be good enough. I purchased this headset for use with the Shure BLX14R/W93-H9 Wireless Presenter Rack Mount System with WL93, H9 Lavalier Mic. As for the sound quality, I have nothing but praise for this microphone. That's 10 steps above Shure's included lavalier mic. With a few EQ adjustments, I was able to get a clear, loud sound. I couldn't get the volume I wanted without feedback from the lavalier mic that came with the system, but I can crank the volume up with it and get no feedback. This is of course…
