Avalon Organics Strengthening Peppermint Shampoo and Conditioner Set, 11 fl oz Each Review

I've used Avalon products quite a bit and like them all. This shampoo and conditioner are very safe products if you want to reduce your exposure to chemicals and toxins. I love shampoos. I use conditioner for its nutritional value, but it doesn't detangle my long hair very well. I add another product after this conditioner to make combing easier.

Avalon Organics is one of my favorite brands as I'm allergic to fragrances. But I'm not allergic to fragrances, which is why I love the natural oils in many Avalon Organics products. In this case, the shampoo seems slightly dry with a strange unpleasant smell of dust or mustiness. I just didn't care about the "texture" - but it cleaned well and left my hair in perfect condition. I was so excited. I love mint, needed a new bath set and was thrilled to find the firming set! I jumped in the shower only to get scared after only using shampoo. I have curly bleached hair but WOW there was no conditioning or moisture in the whole bottle! After shampooing I rushed to apply conditioner to save my hair and it got even drier!
