It not only meets my expectations but exceeds them, well made aluminum material, strong and sturdy, its true 90 degrees as measured keeps my cedar board perfectly straight and it looks very high quality. I am glad that was made Right decision, great purchase.
Too small to use a strap clip to align drawers or doors with panels. This requires 6" x 1". But they're invaluable as bench pads, thanks to holes on each side that accept 1/4-inch screws. paneled building doors. I added a strap clip and four 6" x 1" brackets at a 90 degree angle up to create drawers that were 10" deep. It worked great!
I love woodworking and a great set of aluminum alloy setting squares can help me get the corners right. They are anodized and clearly marked in centimeters and inches on the outside edges. They are thick enough to resist deformation and allow a clamp to be used. Very nicely made squares; I only wish they were 6 inches, but they were long enough for small woodwork. I recommend these Avanson brand aluminum alloy positioning brackets at 90 degrees. This is a basic, value for money tool. I hope you
These brackets are made from hardened aluminum alloy, have a machined square and are red anodized. They are very durable and precise in woodworking. At 4.7 inches, they're a bit smaller than some other aluminum clamp angles, but the effective difference is minimal in my opinion and not necessarily worth the extra fee for the potential extra inch. This set is also supplied without clips. But I'm not a big fan of those L-bolt style clips that connect to those kind of squares. I have found that…
Achieving the perfect 90° angle can be a challenge, especially in tight spaces as shown above. I used 2x4 sections for this, but the square there depends on too many variables. These squares provide a consistent, reproducible method of ensuring that 90° angles are actually 90° every time. I used a square for the first time yesterday when I made a pot. I needed to add vertical support for the shelf from the tabletop to the bottom of the shelf and it should be at right angles to the tabletop…
Pros
Easy to Use - This unique woodworking tool can be clamped on both the inside and outside corners of the workpiece. The 90 degree right angle clip attaches to inventory with an F clip (not included) or C clamp (not included).
These clamping angles appear to be well made and very accurate. In every way I could measure them, they are equal to 90 degrees. Of course within the tolerances of the tree. I used them to assemble a box with thru-hole joints (see photo). I like the box hinge pins that stick out a bit on the outside (they're easier to sand flush with the front of the box). So I couldn't place the squares on the outside of the box. You should have been inside. A small chamfer on the outer corner of the square…
Pros
High quality material. Milled from a solid block of aluminum. This will last for years. Surface Treatment - Anodized red surface, anti-corrosion.
Media could not be loaded. These aluminum angles are amazingly versatile for woodworking jobs. I already have several sizes and designs. But as with clamps, it's always a good idea to have them on hand, especially for tricky splices. And the brand prices are ridiculously high. Based on my experience with both, I see no real difference between these and the expensive brands. I mainly use them to make sure everything stays level when assembling and gluing. They are also great for calibrating…
Pros
Easy to use - beveled edges are easy to manipulate and won't damage delicate cutting edges.
