🍒 Aveda Cherry Softening Shampoo Conditioner: Nourish and Revitalize Your Hair Review

My Aveda Shampoo/Conditioner just arrived. While the packaging looked adequate, upon cutting open the sealed plastic wrap I found that the shampoo bottle inside the packaging had leaked. I cut off the packaging, washed and dried the outside of both containers and other than losing the shampoo in the packaging there was no problem. These are expensive products and I wouldn't expect a leak. JKM

First of all, the scent is really intoxicating. It smells so good you'll have a hard time inhaling it to wash your hair. Unfortunately, as soon as you dry your hair, the smell disappears. It won't hold at all if your hair isn't wet anymore. For the price, I really expected to catch flavor waves all day long. I don't feel like it did anything special in terms of hair softness or manageability. It's really just a fabulously overpriced scented product to enjoy while washing.

My hair is very thick, frizzy and tangles easily. As I got older it also got very dry. It smells amazing but more importantly the shampoo and conditioner combo has left my hair smooth and looking very healthy. I've tried many different products and balms and many of them weighed my hair down or made it look greasy. Too expensive but I'll use it sparingly.

I love this product but half of my order was missing. I wish the seller would just send me my missing conditioner, but instead I have to return the shampoo and place a new order, which I most likely will not do with this seller. Very disappointing experience for a great product. It has a light, natural scent that doesn't give me migraines and leaves my hair soft and manageable.

I've been using Aveda for about a year and a half. The difference is noticeable in my hair. It will become softer and thicker over time. The investment is worth it. However, I received this product and the shampoo was opened and poured out of the packaging. It was all over the Revain packaging. Normally I wouldn't pay attention to something like this, but this shampoo and conditioner is very expensive, so every drop counts.
