🌈 Color Conserve Hair Care with Aveda Shampoo and Conditioner Review

Always one of my favorite shampoos and conditioners, but I have to give them up due to a health condition that forces me to buy a super dry scalp product. But if you color your hair, this product is great. The only downside is such a small bottle and the conditioner felt a bit flimsy. My niece was an Aveda hairstylist and brought me my product and I don't remember conditioner being that runny.

I've heard so much about this shampoo and conditioner that I decided to give it a try. It is very dense and cleans well, but with prolonged use it dries out the hair. The conditioner does not keep the hair moisturized. I have switched to Purelogy and will continue to use it for the time being.

Like the others when I opened it it smelled really bad. It didn't seem to do any more for color retention than any other shampoo/conditioner I've used. I will say the conditioner was TERRIBLE it made my hair look like straw. I'm not sure if this was the right deal or not but I won't be buying them from here again.

I wanted to use the shampoo after coloring my hair. The salon I went to used these products and not only did they smell divine but they left my hair so soft and silky. I didn't like the smell of this item. The hair was soft, but there was no shine or silkiness.

I LOVE a GENUINE Aveda product, color retention works wonders. However, when I finally found a place to buy it in person at a salon that sells many Aveda products instead of buying it here, something came to mind. I used the leftover conditioner from this purchase and mixed it with the conditioner I personally bought and the color of the conditioner DID NOT match when it should have been the same. Mom got me Aveda Color Conserve Shampoo for my birthday and I fell in love with it. A bottle of this size lasted 3 months. My color treated hair stayed vibrant and more importantly the conditioner left it soft, healthy and manageable. I'm at an age where my hair needs extra care and Aveda Color Conserve is great for me. Love it!

I have been using this product for many years and it has always worked great on my color treated hair, whether temporary or permanent. Lasting results and excellent product consistency. I am allergic to many things and scents and this product doesn't bother me at all. My hair is shiny, tangle free and the results are great.
