They are ok...

We needed white trousers for a wedding for our 7 year old (I ordered him 5 bk, he wears that because he is quite skinny). They're ok, the material is a bit see-through/slightly cheaper material and the fit isn't very flattering (bigger at the top and a zip down versus a slimmer/skinnier fit). They worked great for a 1 day occasion but didn't like it. The belt helps them look good.

Perfect fit for my 9 year old

He is a self proclaimed carb lover and always a bit overweight around the waist. While he has no problem dressing (waist) a medium size 10 (but not in length), this pair fits him perfectly from waist to hem. For others, it may be loose for a typical 8-year-old and too short for a 10-year-old. I also love that it doesn't wrinkle or get dirty (amazing because it's white!)

elegant and beautiful, but white underwear is better

Make sure to wear all-white underwear under these pants. They are beautiful and I'm glad they have a bit of stretch and the belt is a style bonus although we don't need it for functionality. I bought a size 8 for my 7 year old who is 75 pounds and a size 10 for my 10 year old who is 100 pounds. A 7-year-old is very similar to a 10-year-old in terms of waist size, but much smaller. The size 8 pants fit around his waist but were very long so we had to pull them up about 5 inches! A 10 year old is
