The stand is easy to assemble, but the screws provided don't help you mount the various speakers. I have a 7lb speaker, but the screws that come with it are not enough to support or hold the speaker on the stand. I bought larger screws and spacers at a hardware store to securely attach the speakers to the stand.

I have no idea how companies can charge $100-$200 for a metal pole to mount a 1 pound speaker.?! Sofa. I played around with the wires (black tape) a bit to clean up the look. Very happy with it!

Overall pretty good, the only problem I found is that the back of the cover is poorly designed, it doesn't stick. I had to use black tape to secure it in place. If the pieces were longer they would probably work to cover the wires and it might just be the design of the speakers I'm using.

Really don't like it. The best I can say is that the base is heavy and solid. I have a surround sound system with a soundbar, satellite subwoofer and rear speakers with bluetooth. The speaker cable must not be routed along the shaft of the stand. It's annoying when you receive an item and discover it. I've had them for 5 months now and they are unusable so far. Seems to be quite functional; However, the hinges/buckles connecting the stand appear to be just cheaper ABS plastic and will likely fail sooner than if aluminum or steel were used in production. Also, it is very difficult to route the speaker wire through the curved part. I used rope and tape to pull the wire through. I knew these shelves were cheap and didn't have high expectations of them but even I was surprised at the lack of quality. First, the design is just bad engineering. The posts do not screw directly into the sockets; Instead the bottom of the rods are threaded and they are held in the base with a nut on top and a nut on the bottom.
