I have been feeding my cat grain free for about a year and have seen absolutely no benefit. I was also concerned about the amount of legumes in the mixes so I chose to get my food with rice as this grain is considered safe for cats and is well researched. However, this feed is probably the wrong choice. Chicken meal is the first ingredient. The protein content seems high, but this type of highly processed protein is difficult to digest.
