Description of 20-Piece IR Infrared Obstacle Avoidance Sensor Module + Arduino Smart Car Robot Raspberry Pi 3-Compatible Reflective Photoelectric Sensor

Feature: there is a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tube of the IR sensor module, tube infrared emit a certain frequency, when the detection direction meets the obstacles (reflecting surface), reflected infrared receiving tube, after the comparator circuit processing, green indicator will light up, at the same time signal output interface to output digital signal (a low level signal). Function: the IR infrared obstacle avoidance sensor module can be applied in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car, line count, black and white line tracking, etc. Adjustable distance: the detection distance of the infrared module is 2 to 30 cm, and the detection angle is 35 degrees, the distance The distance at which the potential can be detected is adjustable. Easy to use: the output port OUT sensor module can be directly connected to the microcontroller IO port, you can directly drive a 5V relay. Application: the IR sensor module can be applied for 3-5V DC power supply modules; There is a red power indicator

Type of work on computers and accessories

They seem to be working. There is a lot of crosstalk between the LED and the receiver, so you'll either have to shield them or mount them from the board. Otherwise, they are easy to use and implement.

Pros
  • computers and accessories
Cons
  • everything is fine

Works best in computer components

They really work. There is a lot of crosstalk between the LED and the receiver, so you'll either have to shield them or mount them from the board. Otherwise, they are easy to use and implement.

Pros
  • computer components
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Good value for money; needs work

I bought them for a robot lesson for my students. We ended up using a slightly different version of these sensors, where the IR emitter and receiver are in a common plastic housing (and have an analog output). These offer good value for money, but it takes a little work to get the most out of them. The transmitter and receiver are discrete, so their alignment with each other can make a difference in response and performance. So mount the device and then carefully bend the wires on the…

Pros
  • single board computer
Cons
  • almost everything is there
