Easy to apply and add color to the steering wheel. They are slightly larger in diameter than the handlebars and are my only big hit with these items. The aluminum is well finished and has a good thickness. The internal expansion fittings appear to be holding up, time will tell. I am happy with the purchase. The diameter of the plastic plug was too large to fit my mountain bike handlebars, but after I cut the handlebars at each stud to be flush, the plugs fitted nicely and I was able to use the Allen wrench that was provided to tighten the screw tighten and close the end caps. Aside from the fit, the plugs feel solid, are well made and do a great job of keeping things from living in my handlebars or going down the dirt hole.

They're simple and easy to install and great value if you need more than one pair. When I bought them other sellers were offering a pair for almost the same price as these six pairs. Since I could use all 6 pairs, this seemed like a lot. There's nothing particularly special about them. For example, they may have a slightly less sharp square edge. This is one of those totally unnecessary trim parts that make the bike look taller. You don't need them, but they look good when worn. These plugs are easy to install, mount VERY flush with your bars and give the ends a flat, sharp, square look. To me it looks clean and modern. It removes the softer rounded edges that traditional end caps offer. It won't work on an 80's or 70's restoration or maybe some touring or gravel bikes.
