Poor instructions in my review

The product instructions are in a light blue background with white lettering, difficult to read. Use a Iron 10-20 seconds, they used a 800W iron and don't say what temperature setting. Use a 1200W hairdrier. 4 - 6 minutes. The product should have better color for legible instructions, better recommended temperature settings when using a iron.

Pros
  • I used this to patch my son's catchers bag, it was effortless to use and apply. Hoping it holds up.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to get a clean cut on the patches

Solid repair tape on my review.

Used an iron to patch over various spots on a military-issued sea bag with this repair tape. Pleasantly surprised at how durable the tape is. You simply cut with scissors to the size/shape you need. The only issue i had was that the adhesive got a little goopy if you sit the iron on any one spot for too long. This caused wrinkles in the tape that were difficult to smooth out.

Pros
  • A little tricky to iron on but adheres well
Cons
  • The adhesive on the patches may not last in extreme heat or cold

Works okay best in my review

Didn't hold vinyl fabric on tree swing, for only 2 months. With a child that weighs 45lbs.Also used to repair hole in jeans ,Has adhered to my jeans well and hasn't come off during washing.

Pros
  • Ideal for DIY clothing projects
Cons
  • May not be suitable for repairing large or intricate designs

Good item though different than my thought

I bought this item several years ago and used it recently on my suitcase which has a cut on the back. I thought this item has glue to stick on because of its name as "tape”. But it doesn’t. So I used the double adhesive tape to stick it on to cover the cut then used the superglue at the edges. I hope this can last for a while. The texture is as same as the suitcase, just weaved canvas. But I wish I would find a item that can be used as a glue tape.

Pros
  • Can be cut to different shapes and sizes
Cons
  • Could potentially leave a sticky residue on the iron

Would order again - great adhesion

Husband had a very large tear along the seam of his driver seat from getting in and out of the truck. I ironed a large strip over the tear and it hasn't even started to curl along the edges.

Pros
  • Can be used for both large and small repairs
Cons
  • The patches may not be suitable for repairing clothing with elastic or stretchy fibers

Cheaper than buying a whole new bag, but not 'cheap'

I had a fairly large hole in the collection bag for my yard vac/shedder. I also happened to have a heat gun so I figured I'd give this product a shot. I cut two strips and set it up in an 'X' pattern with a grapefruit sized rock set up inside the bag to ensure that it didn't adhere to the opposite side of the bag. Worked like a charm, and I've used the tool 3 or 4x now this fall already and haven't had any issues with the repaired spot.

Pros
  • Excellent Service: Because of the difference in screen display effect, if you are unable to determine the color when ordering products, please let us know. We will assist you as soon as possible.
Cons
  • May not provide a good enough match for the original fabric

Excellent product! on my review.

I am a research scientist who lives in Alaska conducts a lot of field work all year round. I had a rip in my favorite gortex winter snow pants and I used this product. It adhered so well and could take horizontal stress on the fabric without ripping or pulling the patch off. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Comes with detailed instructions for easy application
Cons
  • The patches may not be able to keep up with high-intensity activities

Salvaged an expensive grill cover

A twelve-year-old grill cover was needing TLC or replacement. Fifteen dollars of this stuff and a half hour with an iron saved me replacing the cover. I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • The perfect solution for those who enjoy sustainable fashion and want to reduce their carbon footprint
Cons
  • May not be suitable for repairing clothing with intricate or detailed embroidery

Easy fix for ski pants

Worked exactly as expected. I saw a few reviews mentioned it not sticking even with extreme heat but I found it to work perfectly on my ski pants. I applied to the inside. Placed parchment paper over the spot to be ironed and it only took a few seconds to adhere on the highest setting on my iron. No issues whatsoever. You can hardly notice the tear and it feels like a very solid repair.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts who need durable clothing for activities like hiking or camping
Cons
  • Could potentially cause the patched area to become wrinkled or creased

Not for thin nylon on puffer coat

The tape seems good and very durable but is actually pretty thick. Others said it wasn’t though, so I cut off a bit and tested to see how much the glue side melts down. Its definitely way too thick for a tear in the delicate nylon/polyester on puffer down jackets if you are trying to mend something invisibly. I got the dark green, and the glue side is a much lighter yellow green fyi. Four stars because I’m sure it’s great and the quality seems fine but it wasn’t suitable for me. If you’re…

Pros
  • Great for customizing and personalizing clothing
Cons
  • May not provide a comfortable or natural feel to the repaired area

Not worth the price TO LITTLE ON ROLLS

These rolls was so small n not worth the price I paid. I could have gone to Walmart n got bigger n cheaper patches than these

Pros
  • A cost-effective way to extend the life of your favorite clothing
Cons
  • The patches could potentially ruin the look of the garment if not applied correctly

Good product, but will stain surrounding area

I was using this as a backing for another patch I was applying to some jeans I split. This stuff works great. It melts to it and has a super strong hold ones its cooled. But WARNING! The color will absolutely bleed through and show on the other side and any other areas the back side might touch during heating.

Pros
  • No special equipment required to apply patches
Cons
  • Could potentially cause the pants to become too thick or bulky in the patched area

This fixed a sensitive spot on work pants

I loved how this worked with the stretch feature of some heavy denim work pants. The seam had worn and pulled apart near the fly. My son was rebuked by a coworker for what amounted to a small fray spot. But the adhesive patch fixed it nicely and became part of the fabric. I also used it on some shorts that had frayed at the button site. Perfect!

Pros
  • Size of denim patches: 4"x60"/1 roll is the perfect size and it will help to hide the both small and large holes perfectly and enough to create your own design.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for certain colors of denim or other fabrics
