This is my second time buying this item, 36 inch, 2 packs. The first was great! there are 3 pieces in the package that didn't differ in width but it's ok, i bought the 2nd set because i realized i wanted to make another wall with a group of 3 shelves. What matters most is which wall you mount it on. If the drywall is on an interior wall, USE SCREWS and they will attach securely. If you need to install them in drywall fired with a cinder block, you'll need to use the supplied mollies (or buy better ones). I was so excited about these shelves that I was able to display some of my daughter's books, but the shelf sagged and even broke off from hanging on the wall before I could put any weight on it.
