Looks very durable. Since you can pack it yourself, the harshness is up to you. The only problem I have is that it stinks. It has a chemical smell that hasn't gone away yet and it stinks all over the first floor of our house. I wiped it off and left it outside to air out. Still smells. Hopefully this goes away but that is the only reason I would not recommend purchasing this item. It's a really strong, nauseating smell that spoils the product.

This pouf is beautiful! The skin is oily and thick, the color is exactly the same as in the photo. All seams are finished with piping, giving it a classic and solid look. I also love the size. It's 13" x 16" so it doesn't look too big in my small space. I filled mine with a mixture of old clothes and leftover quilting. The stool is durable and plump - a great place to stretch your legs or sit. I highly recommend this purchase!

Nice leather seat cushion. Very well done. Doesn't smell as mentioned in other reviews. I bought foam rubber, cut it into 17x17 inch squares and stacked them. The only disappointment is that the color I received doesn't match the warm amber brown in the promotional photo. I have a lighter cool brown color. Nice nonetheless, wish a pillowcase would have done the trick. Finding something suitable was a difficult task.
