Must have learninf material

I highly recommend these magnets as a learning tool my son has learned a lot from these magnets be ordered different ones especially the Eric Carle version is absolute adorable and you can incorporate the magnets into so many different learning strategies for your toddler my son uses them and a lot of his therapeutic sessions Even his therapist are now telling other parents about that this product and are recommending them to buy it as well. They're colorful their vibrant their animals there's…

Pros
  • Very cute and well made. Makes a great gift paired with a few Eric Carle books. My toddler loves them!!
Cons
  • Overpriced for what it is

Nice quality magnets!

These magnets come packaged very well in a nice box that is shaped like a 1/2 gallon milk container. The illustrations on the magnets are very nice as well, they have almost a retro feel to them. They vary in size from an inch to 2 and a half inches, and stick very well to our magnet board. Although the images are glued onto the magnet they have held up remarkably well, (one has a nick on the side from being chewed on). My children enjoy setting up and acting out stories. They have proven to be

Pros
  • My 1 year old LOVES playing with magnets these are perfect for her!!!
Cons
  • Only focuses on a limited vocabulary

Good product good for me

These are great! The only thing is they are a thick cardboard, so I am thinking if my son keeps putting them in his mouth they might get warped.

Pros
  • QUALITY MATERIALS: These magnets are made of 80% recycled wood. Packaging contains 85% recycled paper, and they’re printed with safe, nontoxic, soy-based inks.
Cons
  • Not visually appealing

Great for speech therapy work

We ordered these as an addition to our autistic son’s speech therapy. Now we can read the Eric Carle books and use the magnets to match the pictures in the books. Our therapist wanted us to photocopy and cut out pictures but this tired momma was so thrilled to find someone had already thought about that.

Pros
  • September 4, 2018
Cons
  • Limited color palette

Not great for teething babies

Super cute illustrations but the image is paper and was destroyed the second my kiddo put it up to his mouth. That's my review.

Pros
  • Sparks creativity
Cons
  • Not sustainable or eco-friendly

Made my kiddo super happy! My 2.5 year old loves taking out these magnets and identifying each one. There are more magnets in this set than The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Friends Magnetic Playset, and I think these are thicker, as well. My son would have dented and destroyed the metal container and paper backgrounds in that other set anyway. If he destroys this cute milk carton container, so what? As long as the magnets survive, I can put them in any kind of container.

Pros
  • Stimulates sensory development
Cons
  • Limited scope of play

Love that they’re wood, but not that the images are paper

I wanted to love these magnets. I love the idea of first words and the images are super cute. What I don’t love is that if they are for first words, they are for older babies or young toddlers who are still teething. The images are basically a paper mounted to the wood. At first they seem solid but my almost 10 month baby has put them in his mouth and the image gets damaged and chewed off. Of course I’ve learned to really watch him with them so we do get to enjoy them, but I thought I could…

Pros
  • 35 WOODEN PIECES: Just the right number of sturdy, colorful magnetics for fun on the side of the refrigerator. Little ones will love to play with these 1.75" pieces on any magnetic surface.
Cons
  • Could be easily replaced by similar products on the market

Lots of fun for baby

I bought these for our daughter when she turned one. We would put a selection on the refrigerator for her to play with and see and then switch them out after a week. Now that she is walking and on the go, she doesn't play with them as much on her own, but still likes to play with the whole bunch and engage in conversation about the different pictures. Well made and sturdy.

Pros
  • Toys & Games
Cons
  • Difficult for babies to manipulate

Some are too small for teething toddlers

These are beautiful and well constructed, but about 33% of the magnets are too small to give to a young toddler. They are in the 1in x 1in range. I picked out the larger ones for now, but wanted to let other parents know!

Pros
  • My daughter loves these! She plays with them on the fridge while I’m cooking. Great quality.
Cons
  • Pieces could easily get lost

These magnets unfortunately double as pencils

We love them, but I feel like I need to warn other parents that the backs of the magnets basically double as pencils. When I opened the box I noticed black marks on some of the images, and my daughter was kind enough to solve the mystery by drawing on our wall.

Pros
  • Improves hand dexterity
Cons
  • Not easy to clean or sanitize

Cute.overpriced.but cute.

My son is almost two and has had these on his magnet board in his playroom for a few months now. He likes the farmer and the tractor magnets the best and we use the animals to work with animal sounds often. These are small (which I know, it's in the description). The artwork is pretty cute and the magnet part does it's job. They come in really cute packaging.my friend used them in her little one's Easter basket, which was great visual display. But really for $18 they are more of an item I'd…

Pros
  • RESEALABLE PACKAGING: Perfect for on-the-go, store the magnets away in the milk carton package with a resealable snap closure. The storage container measures 3.5 x 8.5 x 2.75".
Cons
  • Limited language options
