Review on Baby'S First Words Wooden Magnetic Shapes by Danielle Hartman

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Love that they’re wood, but not that the images are paper

I wanted to love these magnets. I love the idea of first words and the images are super cute. What I don’t love is that if they are for first words, they are for older babies or young toddlers who are still teething. The images are basically a paper mounted to the wood. At first they seem solid but my almost 10 month baby has put them in his mouth and the image gets damaged and chewed off. Of course I’ve learned to really watch him with them so we do get to enjoy them, but I thought I could leave him to enjoy them on the fridge while I cook. They are also a bit small. They had so much potential! He loves them though, just wish they were bigger and more durable.

Pros
  • 35 WOODEN PIECES: Just the right number of sturdy, colorful magnetics for fun on the side of the refrigerator. Little ones will love to play with these 1.75" pieces on any magnetic surface.
Cons
  • Could be easily replaced by similar products on the market
