One of the two bar stools ordered had ball bearings rattling in the seat; So we called the company to replace the part. They sent a new part but the wooden part was damaged so we didn't replace it as planned; You can sit on them but they seem a bit low.

Very nice. They are strong and look expensive. The only thing to note is that mine are pressed against the bar. the people pushing them so close and banging on the countertop. Part of the stain came off on either side of the back where it struck.

I bought this chair two years ago and use it as a bar stool every day. It was very durable and worked great for me. I have short legs and a heavy side and have never had a problem with breaking anything. For me, that's the perfect height. In fact, I liked it so much that I just bought another one to use in a different area.
