My problem has been solved: Linear Motion Leadscrews

I had a sticking problem initially (as did a few others) but was able to solve it with the Basstronics tip recommended by a previous reviewer. The problem is caused by misalignment of the v-wheel mount and motor coupler, which was only apparent because the previous nut had so much play that it wasn't noticeable. So I removed the bracket and bent it a bit in a vise to align it (front/back) along the y-axis. Once that was done, it still didn't line up with x. I cut a strip from a scored aluminum…

I also had a binding issue and here's what you can do about it.

Okay, imagine a ruler hanging 10 inches over the edge of the table, it's easy to slide the ruler with your finger and deflect because of the resistance of the ruler at 10 inches is very low. Now if you pull the ruler in so that most of it touches the table and only extends 1 inch over the table, it's very difficult to distract. **** Well it's a glueing issue, not only do you have to loosen the two bolts holding the bearing/backlash nut, you also have to loosen the two adapter bolts that hold…

A precision part that meets all requirements.

Use this kit to improve the Z-axis stability of my Creality CR10S-Pro V2. The portal continued to sag when the power went out. Installed these puppies and *poof* - no more addiction! I can put some pressure on the frame and it stays in place. Best of all, you don't have to cut the brass hardware to fit the frame - just remove the screws, press each unit together and install. However, it is better to have two tweezers to hold small parts when reassembling. Also, don't worry if it doesn't thread…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
