6.5 Ft Dash Cam Cord - Backup Camera Extension Cable for Car Dash Camera Rear View Camera - 4 Pin Cord Wires Review

I bought this cable for my backup camera and so far it's working fine. The only thing that bothered me during installation was water ingress because it's under the bed of my truck. I read it on the Gorilla Tape and so far so good

I installed a backup camera on my 2010 F150 4dr pickup with a 6 1/2 foot bed and needed this cable to complete the installation. The cable that came with the camera was about 16 inches shorter for a car that length, so I wouldn't have been able to get the job done if I hadn't ordered that cable.

Looks like a standard 4 pin extension but will not work with BrandMotion. Not sure if it's a BrandMotion issue or this one, but the Brandmotion camera requires the plug to go deeper into the female part and it wouldn't go in because there's a lip. Could have been modified (shortened) to make it work but wanted a plug and play solution.

I have two of these 4 pin extensions. They fit very well in my car camera kit. For a small additional fee, they allow me to very easily activate/deactivate the left/right camera of my homemade 360 camera system in the car that I installed in my side mirrors. I don't plan to do this often, but without a camera extension cable. , I would have to remove all the car panels as the original camera kit only had one long cable for each camera.
