Not impressed with the grips

Installed them on my Polar quad and was about to get on the quad and the grip broke immediately. I wanted them to help my girlfriend get in a little easier and when I pushed a little the strap broke. So not impressed!

Excellent handles in body and finish

At first these handles were questionable, but after installation they proved to be very strong and strong. I kept one on my side during hard riding and it was perfect for adding leverage for better control. My wife also liked it on the passenger side.

Does the manual say I can't use it?

I gave 4 stars for the installation but who knows if I did it right. The sewn on velcro looks poorly fastened with lifting edges otherwise seems a good product, the only instruction says to only use it while seated? and don't get in or out of a car, if so I'm not sure if that's any good other than looking cool while you drive.

Fragile plastic. Mine broke on the first ride. But the customer service is great.

There is a plastic tube in the nylon under the handle. I installed it on a Can Am x3 and the hose snapped on the first ride. The support is still there up to the handle. Now it's just awkward to grab. They were a cheap pen and not much to complain about. I will use the pen anyway. I was contacted by the seller who offered me a free replacement. You couldn't ask for better service.

On my Honda Pioneer 700

Just what I needed to lug my middle aged rear end into my Honda Pioneer 700. The cabin is a bit small and higher than my waist, so it's nice to have something to grab to jump in. With the windshield up, the sidebar works, but when it's flush closed there's nothing to cling to for a slight lift. They were easy to install, and at the same time they were easy to rearrange if they needed to be changed. They glide on smooth metal rods. It's just not possible to get around it unless you install clips
