They're designed to create an ambiance, not an impact. HOW DO I USE IT? Rub it directly on your pulse points (yeah, go ahead and rub the tin right on there!) - or - swirl your finger around on the surface until it’s nice and warmed, and then apply. NO, BUT REALLY, WHAT IS IT? These are small-batch artisan campfire cedar badlands cologne. They come in a little tin with a twist-top, and the little tin comes in a very fine (and reusable, I might add) match-style slider box. It’s made with natural ingredients like cocoa butter and beeswax. It’s hard to the touch, but melts when you warm it a little bit. YOU’LL LOVE IT OR WE’LL TAKE IT BACK. Please don't ever stop

How I'd like a natural smell: Burning coals wafting from a fire in the mountains on an autumn afternoon. They hit the spot. My only minor complaint is that the smoky part of the scent doesn't last long. Within an hour it fades to a slightly sweet cedar aroma. Store at room temperature. I ordered it at 97°F. Nothing came out. Very well packed.

Great soap! - Cologne

As a frequent user of pine resin, I was afraid to switch to another one, but not only does the soap smell great (I have a cabin smell), it actually makes me feel very clean, unlike some other all-natural soaps I've tried. I think Badlands Cologne smells great, but I just have to see what my girlfriend thinks!

Strong smell at first

Very strong smell at first use but quickly disappears to a slight smell that can be smelled by someone close to the place of application. I put it on in the morning and when I approach my girlfriend for a hug, she can already smell it on my neck. She likes the smell, that's all that matters

Justifies the hype!

I have to say that after reading some reviews I was a bit skeptical. But I love the scent! It smells like campfire smoke with hints of cedar and pine, although I know my sense of smell can differ from others. My wife will be delighted! I can't wait for her to come home!

smells so good - Scent

I have several illegal scents and love this one. These are all the good things you love about being outdoors and near a fire. I love the way I wear it and I love it but it's not so overwhelming that it fills the space.

Smells like hickory

I'm a big fan of colognes at the moment, I have about 20 different scents from about 6 brands. Other than that, The Badlands but Outlaw Soaps is by far the best I've found. The smell of pure hickory, and it smells like you've just stepped into an old-school carpentry shop; it reminds me of my youth when my father assembled furniture. As with all solid colognes, the scent is strong and gorgeous up close, but subtle (but still noticeable) from afar. Outlaw Soaps solids seem to last a bit longer…

Opinion of an old woman - Cologne

Bought for a 20 year old grandson. The spirit made me tie him up again. For me almost a strong smell of wood smoke BUT silence is good. Now he might not mind. Too little more than I spend on perfume. But again, this is a gift for someone special.

Smells more like a gift shop run by old ladies than a campfire or nature

I REALLY wanted to love this product, I really did. And to be honest, the scent has held up pretty well. The problem was that the smell wasn't very good. Not only did it smell different than described, it didn't even smell male in general. As the name suggests, the best way I can describe the real fragrance is that of a small town gift shop run by elderly ladies. If you've been to any of them before, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
