Sealable Bag Holder for 1 Gallon Storage Bags - Efficient Bagging Solution Review

I used to have to wait for my husband to help me when we were making large batches of spaghetti sauce or soups when I was ready to put them in our freezer. But now, with this wonderful gadget, I can do it without any help! I use a vacuum sealer and make pouches first, fill them one at a time, seal and move on to the next. So easy, I'm so glad I found this.

The product didn't open the bag very wide so the gallon bag was wrinkled and didn't leave enough room to pour out the contents of the soup which is one of its uses. Also, I wasn't at all sure about the strength of the holder, not to mention that as soon as I started pouring my soup it would slide down the counter because there were no handles to stop it. Overall great idea, bad execution. I'm in the process of building my own bag holder.

I use only 1 hand. I tried other bag holders that I couldn't use. This four post looked better but has flaws. On the plus side, it's durable, foldable, and has 4 posts to keep the bag OPEN. However, there must be a way to prevent slipping. I can't even put in 1 gallon. Bag 'cause I'm chasing it all over the counter. And the bag doesn't stand up at all until it's hooked onto all 4 racks. Wow, this bag holder is awesome! You just open it up and twist your legs to make a cross. They stay in place and stand on the counter and support your bags well without worrying about them falling off. It took a little effort to fold the edges of the gallon bag onto the holder's legs, but it didn't take long and worked great. I would suggest that you first fold over the edges of the zippered pouch, then place the pouch on top of the holder and slide the folded edges over the holder's legs. I…
