Not sure if they work I'm sure they will work it's not my problem I thought you know what they say if it does there is a problem, start on cheapest parts first

Anyone who owns a hot tub knows that parts fail over time. This is the second or third temperature sensor I've bought in 10 years. I'm not sure why the sensors are failing, but it's easy to fix and it's a lot cheaper to buy the part online than going to a local store where you would have to order it.

My hot tub was burning out heaters and frequently tripping the circuit breaker after several heater replacements, so I decided to replace all electrical components (PCB, heater, transformer, etc.). ), including these sensors. So far they seem to be working fine and fit my old thermospas tub.

Has an SN1 error on my 20+ year old Avalon Heat Saver. As mentioned, the ohmmeter showed 22k on one (pool temp) and about 3k on the other (next to the heater). Something is obviously wrong as both are measuring the same circulating water (heater off). Bought. replaced. Voila, everything works. So far in this bath I have replaced: 12-port distributor, 1 circulation pump, top controller, temperature sensors (ceiling and water temperature). Who said hot tubs aren't fun 🧐

I didn't install either of these two because they were for another spa (not Balboa) and the wrong resistance @ "Rt" curve for mine 2004 Cal Spas have the Maddox/MEI-039-900 board. For others who need this information, these two metal case thermistors from Balboa have an "Rt" value when calibrated (25 degrees Celsius = 77 degrees Fahrenheit) of 33 kΩ. I ordered this build after realizing the one on my 16-20 year old Balboa controller spa was defective. There was an Sn1 error on the top plate that indicated an upper limit sensor - a smaller one, although the assembly was replaced in due course. After removing the exterior panels and the hot tub controls, the replacement took less than 10 minutes. My hot tub no longer displays the error and returns to full temperature. Hooray!
