I haven't stored them so I can't vouch for how they feel when wearing them. Upon arrival they were too stiff and bulky for panties. Felt like cardboard stuffed into panties. And the hard padding reached to the edge of the panty, giving the impression that it would chafe between the legs in the crotch area. After complaining to a friend about how much my butt hurts after cycling, she suggested soft underwear and as I need 2X or more the options are limited, I gave it a try. They're snug but comfortable (I wear a size 22 jeans) and the padding doesn't feel uncomfortable or bulky. They don't feel uncomfortable when you sweat and are easy to wash and dry.
