I use it for video chatting on my phone, I can easily turn it into a portrait or landscape camera at any time, no problem what I wanted it for. I can also use the rear camera on my Galaxy S9+ and the mount doesn't interfere with it.

I really like it at first. I bought it at the end of March and now it's mid-June and the internet is already crashing. The ball joint falls apart. Yesterday I had to remove my GoPro from it. I would not recommend buying. I'm trying a metal ball joint. Hope it works!

Cheaply made, but usable for the right purpose. I use mine for my Osmo Action which I also use as a dashcam and this ball joint gives me an easy way to point it in any direction/angle. I wouldn't use it under any circumstances where even moderate force is being applied to it, but if you just want something inexpensive that gives you the flexibility of a ball joint then this is a good buy.
