Too bad it was a more direct design than barrel shaped. This would then give me the size hole I was looking for. Although it has an 8 ounce capacity compared to the 6 ounces of the others, it's actually not any bigger when you open it. Hence the 3 stars in the rating. But nice little box. I'll save it and maybe find another use for it. I'm still not sure if that's a colored wood inlay or just a colored paper inlay.

I bought it as a gift for those who cook. I recently bought another version and find it handy to keep on my countertop to sprinkle with salt while cooking to flavor my food. It had a "Marrakech Collection" design and it was a coincidence because I was supposed to go to Marrakech but couldn't because of the Covid-19 virus. I'm sure my recipient will love the idea, the culinary function and the beautiful colors of the satin wood finishes.

When the product arrived, there was a significant gap between the bowl and the lid, allowing air and moisture to enter. Crack at the back of the crossing. I also thought that small colored pieces would be inlaid on top, but that's not the case. On the plus side, the wood of the bowl is beautiful and the shape is very pretty. If it had been properly sealed I would have been pleased. Unfortunately I sent it back for a refund. I think whoever inspected and packaged this item could easily see that…
