The product information and title clearly state that there is no plastic, but there is a fragile piece of plastic on the lid. I was looking for a plastic and silicone free thermos to ensure no bacteria and flavor changes from leftover food would linger. The lid of this thermos is the same as any other, and the lid has a piece of plastic on it. Revain UK has a product that looks identical but is 100% plastic free. This appears to be a fake of such a product.

I would give this insulated water bottle 5 stars if it weren't for the metallic smell. I've tried everything (leave it with baking soda and water overnight, leave it with dish soap overnight, even rinsed a few times, etc.) and the smell is still there. I'm used to it, but I'll be switching my water bottle (most likely back to glass) over the next few months if I can't get rid of the smell. I will update the review when the smell goes away. 3/5 stars so far.

My wife and I bought 2 of these water bottles for the holidays. We are impressed to say the least. We filled bottles with water/ice cubes before heading to the beach. When we returned to the resort at the end of the day, the ice cubes were still in the bin. We're trying to move away from plastic packaging and this purchase was a good choice. Any drink can be filled into these bottles: hot coffee, cold water, tea, beer. The container keeps the drink hot or cold.

This is a great choice if you are looking for a cheaper double wall insulated water bottle. The ONLY issue I have with the design is the sound of metal on metal nails on the board. And the company doesn't offer a recyclable plastic lid instead. I want them to do it. But with a wide mouth to put ice cubes or hot liquids in, it's not like I want coffee that much lol, and the tall, solid construction makes a great bottle. If you don't like metal on metal, I'd check out the Klean Kanteen instead. I

This bottle keeps my liquid cold well. Not sure about heat as I don't think it would be a good idea to store hot liquids in it as the metal is relatively thin. The first time I dropped it on concrete it got a bit damaged but that wasn't a problem. Switch. The handle popped out the second time I dropped it, but it was easy enough to put back on. I wish the mouth opening was a little smaller, but generally if you drink deeply from it you can easily handle the amount of water that comes out of it.

May feel flimsy as a slight 2 foot drop on the second day resulted in a nice dent in the curved top corner. It's pretty subtle. And the wooden bamboo insert twists and turns inside the cap. But even with these shortcomings, it still outperforms any bottle with a plastic cap. As long as the pen is in good condition. So that's fine, but there are better values at better prices. I like this bottle of Bambaw. Just bought 2 more after leaving one at the airport. I dropped my bottle 4 stories up off a cliff and heard it clinking and only hitting hard rocks and it was still whole and usable. Scratch. Very durable construction.
